giving
yourself a pedicure soak your feet to help soften
your nails and
cuticles. It will help fight fungal infections and bacteria that might
be under your nails or around the cuticles.
Make
an infusion of:
horsetail, calendula, lavender, rosemary, sage or thyme (use one or
combine all) and soak fingernails for 5 minutes in the infusion. The
following herbs listed above have an antiseptic and conditioning effect.

Soak
Make a
concoction
using minth leaves.
Add the
water (your
preference), lemon juice, olive
oil and milk.
Mix well
and soak your
feet.

Love Your Feet Cream
30 g grates or shaved beeswax
¾ cup almond oil
Place the beeswax and the almond oil in the top
of a double boiler over simmering water. Stir together until they are
blended
and the wax has melted. Remove from heat and pour into two 4-ounce
sterilized
containers with tight tops.
Allow mixture to cool before applying to feet.
Spread on feet at night before bedtime. Wear a pair of clean cotton
socks at
night before bedtime. Wear a pair of clean cotton socks over the cream.
In the
morning, your feet will be much softer.
Soothing Footbath
This relaxing foot soak will work
wonders on your entire body.
1 tablespoon sea salt
2 drops lavender essential oil
1 drop rosemary essential oil
1 drop bay essential oil
1 drop geranium essential oil
Rose petals
Fill the soaking pan
or rub with enough warm water to cover the feet.
Stir in the sea salt until it dissolves. Use
your toes to stir, if you wish.add the essential oils, mixing them
well. Float
rose petals on the surface.
Soak your feet in the basin for 10 minutes, or
until the water has cooled off. Pat your feet dry with a towel.
Refreshing Foot Spray
This clean, fresh blend is great for hot
summer days. Carry a little spray bottle with you and spritz it on
tired feet.
3tablespons of witch hazel
1tablespoon rose flower water, orange
blossom water, or distilled water
1/8 teaspoon glycerine
10-15 drops of essential oil of your
choice
Pour all
ingredients
into a clean spray bottle and shake. You can keep it in a plastic
container for
two months.
Eucalyptus Foot Lotion
1 tablespoon almond oil
1teaspoon avocado oil
1 teaspoon wheat germ oil
10 drops eucalyptus essential oil
Put all the
ingredients in a small, sterilized glass bottle with a tight-fitting
stopper.
Shake the liquid vigorously until it is completely combined.
Store the bottle
in a cool, dark place. Shake
well before using.
Strawberry Foot Scrub
Work this simple and sweetly
scented natural
scrub into your feet and feel like a queen.
2 teaspoon coarse salt
2 tablespoons olive oil
8 fresh strawberries
Pour salt into a
mixing bowl. Add the oil and stir to combine. Remove caps from
strawberries and
slice or chop them. Add strawberries to the salt and oil mixture and
mash with
a potato masher or fork. The resulting mixture should be chunky but
well
blended.
Rub this mixture
onto your feet, massaging the
balls of the feet and heels. If desired, use a body puff or foot brush.
Rinse
off and coat feet with a gentle lotion.
Leg
Massage Cream
Treat yourself to a massage from your
knees to your toes with this easy-to-make cream especially for the legs.
3 tablespoons anhydrous lanolin
3 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons apricot oil
Put all the
ingredients together in a nonreactive top of a double boiler over
simmering
water. Heat and stir with a wooden spoon until the lanolin has
liquefied.
Pour the mixture
into a sterilized 125 ml jar
with a tight-fitting lid and allow to cool. Keep in a cool, dark place.
Nails
and Cuticle Oil
Nails and cuticle
oil: After washing, massage oil mixture on hands and toenails.
Mix together:
2Tbsp. Pure jojoba
oil
2Tbsp. of one of the
following: sunflower, sweet almond, olive oil or mallow leaf, plantain
(for very dry skin)
Add:
20 drops essential
oil of lavender, rosemary, geranium or eucalyptus
1 capsule of vitamin

Blend well, and
store oil in a clean glass bottle.
To prevent athlete’s foot wash your feet correctly rubbing in between
your toes. Keep your feet dry and wear clean dry socks. Warm moist
areas with dirt are a breeding ground for bacteria.

Foot Soak
for Tired
Feet: In a basin of warm water add
¼ cup
Epson salt or
sea salt
1 cup of
infusion :
peppermint, rosemary, thyme, southernwood or yarrow (you can use one of
them or all of them combined.)
Mix together well,
and soak feet for 5 to 20 minutes. Pat dry and put on some cotton
socks.

Powder for Athlete's Foot
Foot Powder for
Athlete‘s Foot: This recipe is refreshing for sore, tired feet. It
helps control odour. In a small container combine:
¼ cup
cornstarch
1tsp. baking soda
A pinch of orrisroot
powder
And blend well. Then
add
2 drops peppermint
essential oil or 5 drops of rosemary essential oil or 5 drops of
lavender essential oil
1 drop of thyme
essential oil
Mix the oils
and dry
ingredients using your hands and store in a covered container. Leave
overnight before using.
