Herbal Relief

teaHerbs can provide a gentle solution  to this problem.
Herbs such as German chamomile, linden, lavender, hops, and passion flower are relaxing and effective against insomnia when taken at night. If you are unable to switch your mind at night hops is very effective. But do not take it if you are feeling low or depressed.

German chamomile-(Chamomilla recutita), linden (tilia spp.), lavender (lavandula officinalis),  passionflower (Passiflora incarnata). Using any of the herbs above make an infusion in a covered container using 2tsp/cup of water. You can also take  1 tsp of tincture with water 3 times a night.

Chamomille
-is a good sedative and calming herb and helps with skin conditions and irritations.
Lavender-
is a good sedative, ideal for migraines, headache, a calming  remedy for the digestive system and soothing  for sunburns.
Passionflower: is a good sedative, hypnotic, and antispasmodic.

Valerian-
(Valeriana officinalis), hops (Humulus lupulus), Passionflower (Passiflora incarnata).

Take pills containing one or more of the herbs or make a sachet with dried hops and place under your pillow.

If you have an overactive mind:

Hops-(Humulus lupulus)
Take the tincture at night start with 10 drops and go up to 40 drops each night.
Hops-anaphrodisiac, nerve tonic, bitter digestive stimulant, diuretic.
Caution:
Avoid hops if  you are depressed. Do not exceed recommended dose. The plant may cause skin rashes.

This one is dedicated to my father Pastor Arbouet the one who never sleeps. I love you Daddy.
