Constipation
Irregular bowels will occur if waste material in the large intestine moves too slowly through the large intestine. This will create infrequent or irregular bowel movements. Yellow dock-(Rumex crispus), Chinese rhubarb (Rheum palmatum). Make a decoction using 1 tsp of yellow dock or Chinese rhubarb to 1 cup of water and take before going to bed. Yellow dock should be tried first before Chinese rhubarb and senna. Senna is a strong laxative. Take senna pills or steep 4-6 senna pods and 3 slices of fresh ginger in 2/3 cup of hot/cold water. This
will soften the stool. Drink once a day
until stool is soft.Aloe Vera juice: This acts as a stimulant laxative. Caution-Senna is a strong stimulant laxative, and long term use is harmful. Do not give to children under 5 and do not take Chinese rhubarb, yellow dock, licorice or senna during pregnancy. Constipation-two teaspoons of castor oil to a glass of hot water.
