Acne
A skin condition that occurs due to

overproduction of oil by the
sebaceous glands. This overproduction of oil can get
trapped in the
pores and create pimples, blackheads,

common case is acnevulgaris which

shoulders, upper back, and chest.

Almond Mask
Grind
almond in a blender to make almond powder. Mix the almond powder with a
little bit of water to make a paste. Apply the paste to your face and
leave for half an hour before rinsing.
Tea tree (Melaleuca
alternifolia),
clove (Eugenia carophyllata), garlic (Allium sativum)
Dab
1 drop of neat tea tree or clove essential oil on the pus-filled head
of the pimple twice a day. Also, cut a clove of garlic in ½ and rub
over the area twice a day.
Calendula
(Calendula officinalis)
Apply calendula in the form of
ointment or cream, or dab undiluted tincture onto the pus-filled area
twice a day.
Lemon
(Citrus
limon)
Dab
pure lemon juice onto the pus-filled area, or dilute 1 tsp of lemon
juice with 1 tbsp of water and use as a skin wash twice a day.
INTERNAL
REMEDIES
Dandelion (Taraxacum
officinale),
burdock (Arctium lappa).
Make
a decoction using 5 g of burdock root and 10 g of dandelion root and 3
cups of water. Divide in 3 portions and drink during the day.
Echinacea (
Echinacea spp.)
Take
echinacea in pills or capsules, or make a decoction of 10 g of
root to 3 cups of water and drink during the day.
